We are watching American Idol right now - our favorites this season have been Gina and Blake. Melinda and Jordin both have great voices and are good performers, but we just like Blake's style and uniqueness. I also like Phil's voice - I think they were definitely right about the country thing, though. Hmm...wonder who will be going home tomorrow night? My guess - LaKisha.
I think it is great that this week they are "giving back" and making a positive impact on others. Steve and I were talking about how cool it is that we can give just by voting tonight. Seeing all the clips on the show from the places they have visited really makes me miss going on mission trips - I can't wait to go on another one and give -- materially and also spiritually.

I definitely like phil better than lakisha...i don't think he's any blake, but he not's terrible, is he? :)
We love Blake the best, too, and we were SO sad when Gina went home. I missed all of AI last night b/c my sister was in desperate need of some newborn assistance at 9pm! (-; I ran over to her house for an hour but it was worth missing AI to see that little man!!
