Spanish name
So, I have decided that I need a spanish name. My husband's is Esteban (Steve) and my son's is Elias (Elijah) - by the way, they have the same initials - that is one reason we choose that name :), and my name is just Christi. It is funny because more and more people are saying that our little Elias looks like me or my side of the family, BUT at the same time whenever I am out alone with him or around a spanish person who doesn't know me, they can tell that he is spanish. Last night a spanish man came up to me and looked at Elijah and then just began speaking to me in Spanish. Isn't that interesting?!?! I mean, obviously, I - myself- don't look spanish at all, so the fact that they could tell from him is something. Also, last night, I was checking out at the store and the cashier said "Is he Spanish?" and she said that she was from El Salvador (which is where Steve is from, too). So, I feel left out - I definitely need a spanish name. ;)
