I can't believe that my baby is going to be turning ONE in less than 2 weeks. This is very exciting, but also very sad! It's sad because he is growing up so fast. This year seriously flew by - atleast it seems that way when it comes to him and his age/stages! I got a little emotional tonight putting him to bed. I am not sure why - but it just seemed to hit me that he was growing up. I know he is still young (someone reminded me that he isn't moving out of the house yet!), but, still he's not a little baby anymore! I think the thought of Jess' baby coming reminds me of how much E's grown too. But, we love every stage that he's been through and love that as he's gotten older we can play with him and have lots of fun together. :) We definitely look forward to the things we will experience with him in this coming year! We are so thankful for such a wonderful, precious little boy. We feel truly blessed and thank the Lord for this life He has entrusted to us. We love you so much, Elijah!

My baby's turning ONE!

So sweet, Christi. I know the feeling! My favorite age/stage is 12-18 months...they are learning so much, a bit ornery, funny, starting to talk, running around everywhere, sleeping well...it's just a fun, fun age. Happy EARLY birthday to Elijah. I am also super excited for your sister and will remember her in my prayers, especially tomorrow (is she being induced?).
